Cleaning and Hygiene
Under Informa AllSecure standards, SupplySide PHX will facilitate cleaning and hygiene through the following processes:
Prior to the start of the event, electrostatic disinfection systems in the ballroom and public spaces will be deployed.
Cleaning practices have been enhanced to ensure standards are exceeded for disinfecting and hygiene with an increased focus on key touchpoints, including high-traffic areas, handles and rails, restrooms, food & beverage areas and registration desks.
SupplySide PHX Pop-up will provide hand sanitizer stations throughout the event space and encourage all participants to regularly wash and disinfect their hands.
Under Informa AllSecure standards, SupplySide PHX will facilitate physical distancing through the following processes:
SupplySide PHX Pop-up aims to minimize lines and avoid crowding. Visitors are encouraged to register online before the show enabling quicker entry. Registration and customer service areas will have a partition between visitors and staff, and queue lines will have signage such as floor stickers or stanchion toppers to note required distance between individuals.
Crowd Density Standard (CDS)
SupplySide PHX Pop-up will maintain density of participants in accordance with local authority regulations and venue guidance. This will be managed through capped registration numbers, staggered meal times, a maximum of two (2) company personnel per tabletop and on-site monitoring from SupplySide Show Management.
SupplySide PHX Pop-up is following the guidance of a 3-foot radial distance / 6 feet of physical distance per person through one-way entrances and exits, on-site signage and floor markings and spaced out seating at lounge areas and tables.
SupplySide PHX Pop-up will request that participants avoid physical contact, such as handshakes and embraces, promoting alternative ways to greet business partners. The exchange of printed materials, such as business cards and sales brochures, will be discouraged with digital alternatives recommended.
Food and Beverage
Food and beverage areas will be designed to minimize contact and restrict any self-servicing, including pre-packaged options, designated eating areas and increased attendants.
Protect and Detect
Under Informa AllSecure standards, SupplySide PHX Pop-up will facilitate required health protocols and assistance through the following processes:
SupplySide PHX Pop-up will temperature check all guests for elevated (over 100.4F) temperatures prior to entry into the event. In the case of an elevated temperature, we will have a designated cool-down area where participants can wait until they are ready to be re-screened.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
All participants are required to wear masks while on the Hyatt Regency property. If you cannot wear a mask for medical reasons, you will be required to wear a face shield in lieu of a mask. Masks and gloves will be available for those who do not have their own.
SupplySide PHX Pop-up in coordination with Hyatt Regency will have a first aid response plan in place should medical assistance be needed. Participants will be asked not to attend if they are feeling unwell.
In addition to the safety protocols in place for the SupplySide PHX Pop-up, Hyatt Regency Phoenix has been awarded the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR facility accreditation by ISSA, the Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association. The GBAC program is considered the gold standard for safe facilities, and was designed to control the risks associated with infectious agents, including COVID-19.
What is Informa AllSecure?
Informa AllSecure is the approach we are taking to enhancing the health and safety standards in place at Informa events following COVID-19.
From exhibitors to sponsors, speakers, visitors and journalists, those who come to our events come to connect, learn, know more and do more business, effectively and safely.
The standards and practices that make up Informa AllSecure are designed to provide confidence that at every Informa event, we are striving to provide the highest standards of safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and quality.
How was Informa AllSecure developed?
Informa AllSecure is based on a set of event industry standards, called All Secure.
The All Secure industry standards were developed collaboratively by a group including industry associations UFI, AEO and SISO, event organisers Informa, Reed Exhibitions and Clarion, a range of event venues, suppliers and with input from health, government, and local authorities.
Informa AllSecure is the way these industry-wide All Secure standards are being applied to Informa events.
What can I expect at an Informa AllSecure event?
You can expect to see that health and safety is a priority and that a range of measures are in place to ensure everyone involved is able to enjoy a safe, hygienic, productive, and high-quality organized event experience.
As a starting point, Informa AllSecure events will be run according to the guidance of government or official authority guidance, and according to any venue-specific regulations. In addition, all Informa AllSecure events follow ten key commitments around hygiene, physical distancing, and protection & detection, with additional measures in place where relevant and practical.
Can you guarantee my safety at an Informa AllSecure Event?
No environment or space inside or outside of the home can ever be 100% safe.
At controlled event gatherings like Informa events and through Informa AllSecure, we have put in place a comprehensive range of enhanced standards that make the health and safety of everyone who attends a priority.
Through measures such as enhanced deep cleaning before, during and after events, non-contact registration, distancing and crowd management, and the deployment of screening and protective equipment, we are striving to provide the highest standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness, and to ensure that following COVID-19, our customers, partners and colleagues can connect, learn, know more and do business effectively, safely and with confidence.
How are you going to ensure people stick by the rules?
We are contacting all participants before the event to let them know what to expect at the event and how to prepare. Upon arrival, signage will be displayed throughout the venue to remind everyone of the enhanced health and safety measures that are in place, and our expectations of all visitors.
We are also using technology to reduce the need for physical contact, for example, non-contact registration, and actively managing visitor flow to ensure physical distancing can be maintained.
What type of face mask is required?
All guests will be required to wear a face mask upon entry to Hyatt Regency Phoenix. Masks will be available on-site if a guest does not have their own. The CDC recommends wearing masks with two or more layers of washable, breathable fabric, that completely cover your nose and mouth, fit snugly against the sides of your face and don't have gaps, have a nose wire to prevent air from leaking out of the top of the mask. Gaiters and face shields will not be acceptable forms of face masks at SupplySide PHX Pop-up.
